Many sportsbook sites look pretty much the same, and while BetRivers does use the usual layout and format to display the sports, markets and odds, while writing my BetRivers review I noticed that the site is more visual and interactive than other sportsbooks.
I particularly liked the way that the best bonuses and major upcoming sports events are displayed front and center on the main sports page, and the menu at the side or top of the screen displays a few more options. There’s also a scrolling bar to the right of the screen that displays recent big wins on casino games, if you want to try those out.
BetRivers Review Key Features
BetRivers offers an excellent all-round experience, but there were some key features that really stood out to me while I was doing my research for my BetRivers review. I put the whole website (and the mobile app) through its paces, and this is what came out on top.
Cash out is a fantastic online sports betting feature, which allows you to cash out your bet at some point before the event ends. While you’ll not receive the full amount you would if you just waited for the event to end, you’ll at least guarantee a percentage of it – or, if you were going to lose, you might avoid a bigger loss. Do note that the amount you can cash out depends on the odds of your bet winning.
When I was writing my BetRivers review, I noticed that this sportsbook often gives out bonus bets, both for new players and regulars. You’ll be able to use your bonus money on any sports wagers, they’ll just need to be at minimum odds of -200 or greater. The best way to keep on top of any bonus bets you’re eligible for is either to keep checking the promos page whenever you log in (you can find it in the main navigation).
I’m always happy to see a mobile betting app, as this is a guarantee that an online sportsbook site is catering for the more modern player. BetRivers has mobile apps for both iOS and Android, and you can get them from the mobile site or from your App Store or Play Store. The apps also allow you to do everything you would in the site, which is good news for mobile players.
Withdrawal requests are usually approved within about 24 hours, and even after that, you won’t have to wait too long before you get your money. I’m aware that I did mention withdrawals taking at least 24 hours as a drawback of the site, but that’s only because – believe it or not – there are some sportsbooks out there that do it even quicker.

One of the first things I checked for my BetRivers review was the customer support options. There’s an entire help center which you can access via the main navigation, and it gives a good overview of the main topics like registration, responsible gambling, deposits and withdrawals, and some

There’s a chance you might not find what you’re looking for in the help center, so I tested out some of the customer support channels. Click on the support link on the screen when you’re logged in to open up the chat function. The team is pretty much always around to help you out, but if they’re not available at the exact time when you need them, you can leave a message and they’ll reply via email as soon as possible.
BetRivers Review: Security and License
You can sign up at BetRivers no matter where you live, but you do need to be physically located within the borders of one of the legal states to be able to deposit real money, bet, and withdraw any winnings. BetRivers is licensed in each state, so while I won’t list out all of the licenses, you can rest assured that, if BetRivers operates in your state, it’s legal for them to do so.
